How to add an entry to the ads.txt file?

If an advertiser has asked you to add an ads.txt entry, you can easily do it in the Ads4media panel.

What is ads.txt?

The ads.txt file (short for Authorized Digital Sellers) is a list of trusted advertising partners. It is a simple text document added to your website in which you clearly declare which companies (e.g. Google) are authorized to sell ad space on it.

Thanks to it, you protect yourself against online fraudsters who could impersonate your website, and advertisers can be sure that they are buying ad space directly from you.

How to add an ads.txt entry?

Ads4media → cms4media portals → Edit → ads.txt Ad codes

In the ADS4media panel, go to the [cms4media portals] module. Find the portal in the list and go to its edit page.

Find the ads.txt Ad codes tab and enter the code in the Ad codes field. You can add a note, for example with information about which advertiser the code comes from. The note will not be visible in the ads.txt file. It is auxiliary information for Ads4media users.

Click the Add new ad codes button to save the changes.
